Insurance-Personal Lines Services Representative

This position is for an individual who can be responsible for pre-underwriting, quoting, placement and initial servicing of Personal Insurance accounts in the Independent Agency / Multi-Carrier environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for New and Renewal Business Management, Identifying opportunities to write additional lines of business, proactively seeking to retain key renewals by working closely with insureds and agents.  As a candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with clients & agents and deliver agency and product solutions at the account level.  You must also be able to prequalify accounts to identify customer needs and take appropriate action by effectively using competitive market data to build and maintain profitable agency relationships.


WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two years Personal Lines experience. Be able to quote from carrier systems, have agency automation skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word & Outlook). Individual must have an active Property & Casualty license.


ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Strong technical multi-line underwriting skills.
  • Knowledge of Property/Casualty business and products.
  • Understand insurance carrier products and function efficiently within the multiple carrier market-place.
  • Analytical problem-solving, decision making, quantitative reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively; strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks; prioritize and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Insurance Automation Platform Skills (i.e. rating systems/platform, Agency Management systems).

Experienced Licensed Commercial Property and Casualty Account Service Representative

CALIFORNIA & NEVADA

This position is for the individual who can be responsible for underwriting, marketing, quoting, placement and initial servicing of small and medium commercial accounts in the Independent Agency / Multi-Carrier environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for New and Renewal Business Management, Identifying opportunities to write additional lines of business, proactively seeking to retain key renewals by working closely with CAP agency members. As a candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with clients & agents and deliver agency and product solutions at the account level.  You must also be able to prequalify accounts to identify customer needs and take appropriate action by effectively using competitive market data to build and maintain profitable agency relationships.


EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY

4 year college degree or directly related insurance experience


WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five years Commercial Underwriting (Account Service Executive) experience within the independent agency system.  Be able to quote from various carrier systems, have strong agency automation skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word & Outlook).  Individual must have an active Property & Casualty license.
